Oncology refers to the specialty of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, modulation of immune responses and nutrition are all integral components of effective cancer treatment. With recent advances in the detection and treatment of cancer, clients and their pets have more treatment options and hope than ever before.
Dr. Stephanie Kottler and Dr. Karen Gibson provide oncology services at VRCNH. Together, their experience with cancer diagnosis and therapy provides an excellent team for treating most of your pet's cancers.
For cases that can not be treated at VRCNH we can facilitate a referral to a dedicated Veterinary Oncologist such as NEVOG, who has boarded oncologist and the latest radiation equipment. If a referral to NEVOG is required, VRCNH can provide follow-up care in many cases.
