Emergencies
The Veterinary Referral Center of NH shares its hospital building with CAVES, the Capitol Area Veterinary Emergency Services organization. CAVES operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The department always has an emergency veterinarian on duty.
It is the aim of the CAVES professional staff to provide the very latest in quality veterinary care. The staff attends continuing education seminars on the national, state, and local levels and its veterinarians are members of the many professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association.
CAVES is provided to care for your pet when your family veterinarian is not available. No appointment is necessary. Please call ahead Toll free 1-877-929-1199 or local phone 227-1199 so that a veterinary professional can advise you about your pet emergency.
